Privacy Q&A: Sharing Your Personal Information

People are nervous about sharing their personal information. We get it.

We really do. Data is powerful. It can be used for good or in a way that can be harmful.

When participants choose to share their data with us to inform our evaluations - to tell us how they are doing and how they feel about the services they are getting - it is a precious, important, and conscious choice they are making.

We treat their data in a way that upholds these sentiments; in a way that reflects how we would want others to treat our own personal information.

We created this 2-page information sheet to more effectively tell participants of federally-funded programs, what it means to agree to share their data and how we keep it safe.

We wanted to share in case others might find it useful too.
