C4BHI Assists Connecticut's Children’s Health Development Institute

One of the services we offer at C4BHI is clinical training on evidence based models.

Currently, we are assisting Connecticut's Children’s Health Development Institute in their large-scale, statewide effort to disseminate SBIRT and effective adolescent treatment. 

The project includes training 5 mental health agencies across the state in the Integrated Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Therapy treatment model (which C4BHI partners helped develop), as well as on going fidelity coaching, and presentations at the upcoming Connecticut Evidence Based Practice Conference on May 20th. 

C4BHI trained and coached 27 clinicians to receiving ICBT certification which included passing fidelity reviews of 4 recorded sessions.  To promote sustainability, two therapists will also receive their supervisor’s certification and there is a plan in place for them to also receive their train-the-trainers certification.
