Do You Know About Project ENTER?
🌳 Exciting News from C4BHI & Project ENTER!
C4BHI, Educational Alliance, and the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS) are proud to collaborate on Project ENTER, supported by SAMHSA’s effective youth treatment initiative (Youth and Family TREE). Project ENTER is focused on strengthening the continuum of care for youth and families at risk of substance use and mental health challenges across New York City.
Launched in September 2023, Project ENTER has been laying the groundwork for sustainable change by:
✔️ Standardizing youth screening using the SBIRT process
✔️ Improving communication pathways
✔️ Hiring Youth Wellness Mentors—trusted messengers now embedded in ACS community offices, school programs, and public housing across all five boroughs.
📊 So far, 77 youth have connected with our mentor team, receiving support through screening, assessment, and referrals to essential services.
C4BHI is proud to support the facilitation, tracking, and evaluation of this critical initiative, which is set to run through 2028.
This is what system transformation can look like—centered on youth and families, rooted in a “No Wrong Door” philosophy, and built on collaboration.
